Welcome to the official website of Karnataka state haj committee for haj volunteer known as Haj zimmedari. This allows us to serve you better and avail better services. Haj is one of the five tenets of Islam. It’s every Muslim’s desire to perform Haj at least once in his life time. Performing Haj is obligatory to every sane, financially able and adult Muslim. Haj is the fifth pillar of Islam, an obligation that must be carried out at least once in their lifetime by every able-bodied Muslim who can afford to do so.

The Karnataka State Haj Committee is a Autonomous Body under Minorities Welfare Department of Government of Karnataka. It functions under the Haj Committee Act 2002 and under the Ministry of Minority Affairs, (Haj Cell), Government of India, New Delhi, through the Haj Committee of India, Mumbai.
